The clock on my computer is losing time..
The last couple of days, every day the clock on my laptop has lost about 5 minutes. I have a feeling this is a bad sign... can anyone tell me what the deal is? Is my computer trying to tell me to lay off and let him sleep, or does he want more attention, or what?? I'm so confused ): I just want my c...

Thanks, I had figured it didn't reallie matter since I know people who shut down their computers every time they leave the room, and others who never shut them down at all. But I figure I won't leave it on 24/7, that seems kinda sketchy, since thats like 12 hours of not using my computer when you fa...

Leave computer running or shut it off?
I was wondering, is it better to leave my computer running all the time, or to shut it off ever time I leave it? I have a 3 year old e-machine laptop, running Windows 98se. I know that it's sillie to shut it down every time I go to the bathroom, or if I just run out for a minute, but if I'm going to...

ACK! I lied.... I could IM from ICQ to AIM, not the reverse.... I just put the screenname in the send message to box... but it wouldn't let me put the AIM name in my BL on ICQ. I got the same message on AIM while trying to IM ICQ as you get when youre trying to IM someone who is offline, and the nam...

OK... lets see if I can make real sense... So I could IM to AIM from ICQ, but not the reverse (I got the message you get when you try to IM a person who is offline). ICQ wouldn't store my AIM screenname in my buddy list, and on AIM, my ICQ number was stored, but never came up as online. Is that bett...

Ok, so I tried this out. I went on AIM and ICQ (although my ICQ was via trillian which could be a factor). I IMed myself from ICQ and it worked, I got the message, but I don't appear on my AIM buddy list, and I cannot add my AIM name to my ICQ BL. But then I tried to IM myself back from AIM, and it ...
