As for no memory for fonts, that sounds like the old AIM Filter font punt. And as for huge memory usage, that sounds like the old bad icon punt. Somebody maybe doesn't like you? :) Now this CPU usage thing... I haven't experienced it. I do think, however, that in my experience AIM is a very CPU/memo...
