That was the idea anyways, I think. It would only be enabled if you want to use it. Also, the "common misspellings" it corrects are determined by you, so if you wanted to be making misspellings, you just wouldn't configure it to look for them. I'm pretty sure many people would find this us...

Spell checking is definitely a great thing for AIM... however, a lot of the time when I'm sending IMs the #1 thing I care about is getting the IM sent as soon as possible (especially longer ones). I'm probably not terribly likely to take the few extra seconds to go back and check for underlined word...
