the way I achieve this is not just one program or script that does it, but a little combination. I use a plugin for Winamp called NowPlaying that writes the current playing songs ID3 title to a simple text file and then I use a PHP include to insert the contents of the file into my profile.

haha... I know first-hand about the slow responsiveness when using the fade option. My computer would choke if I had lots of messages with people open that were faded, so I had to turn it off

I've been saying this a lot... I want the AIM+ logging to be more like AIM 4.4 logging in that it saves all the extra stuff... also the viewer for AIM 4.4 was the internal AIM browser that's also called upon to open profiles... if you used it, then smileys would be there and formatting would remain...

I had the same problem with it not working across multiple accounts. I figured that it only installed per user, so I just installed it on the other accounts to and that works just fine
