As someone who has been warned to 100 I learnt the hard way that you can't log on for about 24 hours after you were warned. At least this is what happened in my case.

One thing to check is go to Start -> run and type msconfig and go to the startup tab that shows all things that are being started at boot. If you've never done this before there is going to be alot of programs in there that you aren't aware of and proably don't want to start at boot.... ms office fo...
