well just make it write to the profile.htm, and im guessing you need multiple paths for diffrent OS's and if you cant add it cuz of char. limit, you have another reason to get past that  If you change the profile.htm file, it will not work. I tried doing that with the NowPlaying plugin that so...

There is a Winamp General Purpose plugin that reports what song you're playing to a file. http://drpizza.arsware.org/nowplaying/ It says on their site you can use it with AIM but I have no idea how. I would especially dig this for Away messages. Adding a feature for Away messages to grab the conten...

Re: View who has blocked you
I looked for a good while but i didn't find anything and i was wondering and i think this would be pretty cool if you have a feature that would show who all has blocked you. I believe that the whole blocking thing is taken care of on AOL's servers, so I don't think that there is anything that AIM+ ...

Re: buddy list backup
I think it'd be good to automatically backup the buddy list locally. kind of a restore point sort of thing. This way folks don't have to worry about the AOL servers getting goofed up with a wacky version. If not that, the ability to stop the remote list from overwritting the local without authoriza...

There is a way to copy your away messages, but it involves exporting HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\America Online\AOL Instant Messenger (TM)\Current Version\Users\ insert screenname here \IAmGoneList from the registry. Then after you reformat your computer and reinstall AIM, you should be able to just ...

In the beginning it worked, now people know that by clicking a link they could be tracked. There is a way to view the subprofile without being tracked now. It involves copying the URL into the browser and modifying the variables so that the script either doesn't receive a screenname or it receives ...

It'll still be out soon, though - just a few hours.. Not a problem Ryan, take your time finishing it. I know that this is probably something you do on the side in addition to school and other stuff, and I'm sure everyone else understands as well. I'm just thankful you make AIM+ available to the pub...

don't say things are a 'problem with the newest aim beta' when in fact they don't occur without aim+. Whoa there.....step away from the keyboard, take a deep breath, and relax. From what I can gather, you ( laymil ) and Mark are referring to two different situations. Mark 's response is an answer t...
