Well... your right about the un-away'ing as being part of the client side... thats for sure. You can always put urself as away with that old trick and you will have a lil yellow icon next to ur name on their list... but your client wont really send them an autoresponse message when they IM you. BUT....

hmm... this would be a lot of work for the Big-O guys, but it IS possible.... Yall would have to make another AIM client basically tho. Make it look and feel like AIM 4.8, yet on the inside it would be 5.... that way you could supress the BS and do like that guy said and use the good stuff..... that...

go get Professor AIM... it has some bots for ya like that

skins suck. am i the only one here that thinks so? Skins add bad looks usually and confuse you with the layout from wat ur used to and the really do slow ya down. Personally, i like just the default layout of all my stuff... i dont like having to get used to a whole new thing everytime i change skin...

And of course i step in to save the day again.. lol


there IS a hot-key for wat you wanna do... ya know how you can close windows by pressing Alt-F4... well, you can close AND exit AIM (completley) by pressing Ctrl-Shift-F4 all at the same time.... not ALT

so maybe yall could add

well, the problem lies in the people that dont have AIM+... if AIM+ added more emotions, it could be made so the other users that have AIM+ could see a graphic, but this would be rather hard with just regular AIM users. Wat would be simple enough would be something like AIM+ would insert a word or p...

well, that search string idea sounds a lil complicated for the everyday use.
Instead, there should be something like a checkbox for logging on each IM window and Chatroom window... and you can set it so that it would be default on or off.
