I think that's a good idea... perhaps even a little utility where you could make or import your own personal lists, so everyone can customize it for their own personal text shortcuts?

You can do this, just make sure that "minimize to system tray box is checked in your regular AIM options. Then, when your buddy list is minimized to the tray and you click to minimize your away message, it will disappear from the taskbar.

I always click "Launch Clone" when I mean to look at an IM history!! Can you remove it or make it less easily-clickable for hasty clickers? It's already in the regular Buddy List AIM+ menu, which is where I believe it should be (and not in the IM AIM+ menu, since cloning is not IM-specific...

I'm curious as to why AIM+ needs a "disable AIM Today window" function at all if it's a regular AIM setting...? I always just disabled it in AIM preferences and it never bothered me.

I guess I was confused about what you were talking about, I'm not too familiar with XP. I think multicolored icons and rollover tooltips would be awesome features if they aren't too hard to implement.
