Problems with common users on W2K Professional

... (install path not found in registry), then hkSFV does not work on menu also if I try to start following menu. Have some tip to hkSFV work with shell extension for other users?

Hi.

I was wondering if you could like include an option in the installer, so the shellExtension (the right-click-on-file-thing =)) could be excluded.

If you're using linux, you can't just "delete" a folder. you have to force it's deletion..at least in the shell. Even sometimes in the GUI, a folder won't like to delete, because the system thinks it's not there, but it really is. So you have to use the -f attrib. rm -f ...

How to unregister the shell extension?

A quick search on the forum didn't reveal an answer... I'd like to know how I can unregister the hkSFV shell extension so it won't show up in the right-click menu for every single file type. If I want to use an SFV file I'll just open hkSFV and go from there... I saw in a ...

but can you really remember them? after the actual image is gone, there is like a 'shell' composed of basic information (eg, it was a square, it was blue...) when you 'remember' the image its being rebuilt with similar pieces of the puzzle. Im sure this has happened ...

in windows XP, simply highlight any standard file that will have hksfv's shell extension options. click "File" in the window's menubar. now click File a bunch more times (to open/close the dropdown menu). for every click you will see a duplicate "HKSFV" ...

... avatars you need to have the images directory set to Read, Write and Execute for everyone. Owner (User for *nix), Group, and Others. If you have Shell access via SSH/ Telnet or using a *nix computer... CHMOD the directory 777.

... Windows, I can delete system files if I feel like it. Even ones that are currently in use. Hell, with the stroke of a few commands in my Bash Shell, I can erase my OS! (While I'm still using it !)

I've used hkSFV for a long time .. and I never saw this bug
Of course I never had SP4 loaded on my Win2k machine.

Perhaps that's the source of the bug?
Maybe M$ was playing with the right click shell integration stuff.. and it threw some programs already installed out of wack?

hi

sometimes the shell integration doesnt show correctly (hkbug.jpg) and when i press any of the 3 hksfv buttons in shell (hkbug2.jpg) appears. only a reboot fixes the problem.

win2k sp4 used
