hmmm this hasent been a problem for me but some of my friends have had the same problem my search field has never been checked off so they can find me i guess i am lucky

one feature i didnt see in the newest version of hksfv is the ability to add a directory and for it to search all sub directories for more sfv files..that was a huge time saver and was pretty much what made me choose hksfv as my sfv checker... thank you for a great product ...

I've actually never had that happen to me. I guess because I dont have search for me enabled as Mark said and I never go in AIM chatrooms except maybe once in a blue moon.

If you go to My AIM / Edit Profile and make sure the 'Allow People to Search for Me' box is unchecked, most of the porn bots on AIM will not be able to find you.

When i click on a link to go into a chat room or add a buddy to my list through an aim: link it takes me to the msn website saying no search results were found? It even does this with my regular aim. Do you know whats happening. It didnt use to do this i was able to get in rooms through links ...
