i noticed that when i did this, i had to create a whole new aim folder, so like i had a c:\\program files\\aim 95\\ directory and then i made a c:\\program files\\aim 95 2\\ directory with the hexed aim.exe, and it seems to work beautifully for me.

AIM+ doesn't modify your AIM, it's a loading program. After installing AIM+, instead of starting AIM as you used to, you have to run aim+.exe ... this program will load AIM with the AIM+ features.

If your problem is not this simple, reply with the circumstances of your problem.

It appears that AIM is an integral part of Netscape 6x, i.e., there is no separate aim.exe file. How does one use AIM+ in this situation?

Fixing this problem is quite easy, if you have installed AIM it has made a registry entry. What may have happened is the AIM registry ... some entrys alerady there. If you see aim and it isn't pointing to the AIM+ executable then right click AIM and click 'Modify' Enter in the path to AIM+ ...

When AIM+ modifies the AIM key under HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, it doesn't ... should have a leading and trailing quote. It should be: "C:\Program Files\AIM+\AIM+.exe" -cnetwait.odl
