maximize it and unmaximize it. this can be easily done by double clicking the title bar (the part that says so and so's buddy list) ... when it maximizes, double click it again. should shrink back to original size. no problem

The latest version of AIM indeed has shell extensions built in. Just right click the file/directory you want to send to a buddy, choose "Send To," and from there you have the options to send it to an AIM buddy or an AIM share.

I've never had issues clicking on hyperlinks in AIM windows, but in AIM+, I have to right-click and copy URLs - which, needless to say, is quite annoying. I think that fixing this should be a major priority.

i've been experiencing this also.
when i try to select text, when there's a url in the message, i can't click the url and the text itself is selected. when it first happened i thought it might just be aim... i try not to blame you guys for anything...

AIM already has an always on top feature built in. Just open the "My AIM" dropdown menu, choose "Edit Options", and "Keep Buddy List on Top" is the last choice. Click it and your buddy list will always be on top.
