And true to the posting in the right forum, but I felt like I needed to do my one good thing for the day, and that happened to be it.

It just means that in order to keep a more accurate history, it has to clear your im window. The conversation is still logged and you can keep talking to that person... If you would have searched the forum or looked at the FAQ i'm sure its been discussed many times...
