to answer the initial question, Yes hkSFV is compatible with AIM 9.0


but if you try to use it with anything under 9.0 you will get errors

MD5 sum function is not MD5!

Maybe I'm missing a preference, but it seems to me the MD5 sum function of hkSFV 2.0.1 is not MD5!

When I change a file without changing the time stamp, hkSFV accepts the file as being correct!

When I change a file-name without changing the content, hkSFV rejects the file as being in-correct!

I was surprised with all the advanced abilities hksfv has, it can't do a simple crc32 sum for a single file? ie. with a simple right click it should be able to scan a single file and give it's current crc32 sum so you can compare it to the crc32 ...
