AIM5 is largely unappreciated amongst most people. I wouldn't start working on the 5.x tree doesn't even have a final version. There's no guarentee fixing the things that AIM4 has that AIM5 doesn't work with will even stay fixed as they continue developement. So perhaps you should release what you h...

There is a program that will recover the password saved in the registry, but I don't think I got it working right on the newer versions... search around.

Everyone I know that has a router it has been caused not by the firewall, but because AIM does not look for the IP address in the right place. Have someone with a router click direct connect and check the netstat and you'll see it trying to connect to a 192. address which could never work.

It couldn't be hard to write code to pick a random file out of a directory with .ids in them, and then replace the picture.id with that. If that toolset sucks as much as everyone says, then I'm sure one of us could write that if AIM+ won't make it a feature.

Kazaalite.com has been down for a while. Google for it and you'll find it though.

By the way, I haven't any problems here on my win2k box.

That would take a lot of work to go through and delete all those thymestamps. I'd load it into PHP, search for the ( on the first line and delete to the ) on the line. But then again, that'd be way too much effort too... so in sort, i'd deal with it :P
