Weird things on aim

LOL, i found some weird things on aim.

If are in an im and hold down the key 'i' and press get info a new message window comes up

Then i you hold down the key 'k' and press get info the block buddy command comes up lol, weird!

tone.. those are keyboard shortcut commands.

For making a new window pop up. Hold ALT and press the letter ' I '.

As for the other one.. it doesnt make the block window come up for me.. it's the Buddy Info Window.

That is actually kind of odd that the info button would do that stuff though.. The entire point of keyboard shotcuts is so you don't have to use the mouse .

no, actually he was noting something different from the shortcuts........ it is kinda weird.

go into an IM window and just hold down I and then with ur mouse click info. It pops up a different window.

Odd..... doesnt seem like it would be a shirtcut to me.

Besides the ones tone mentioned:

s sends the string of letters and opens buddy info
c opens a chat invite and buddy info
b opens an add buddy window
d opens directory info and buddy window
w automatically warns the person you are talking to

ok... i just figured out what it is.

it has to do with those hidden buttons on the IM form.

Those letters must be the shortcut letters to those buttons for some reason.

Example: the O button is the shortcut for the info button.

so those hidden buttones we konw about, they must have a shortcut key set to them. The I button is set to the new IM window button, thats y when ya press it, it does the same thing as when ya click the hidden button.

Actually, pretty much any key you press and then click on the get info button opens the buddy info for the person you are talking to.
