Windows Session Sign Off

So going back to the WinXP and AIM 5+ "Windows Session Logoff" away message, is there a way for it to not appear when I log out? Some people find it useful, but if I wanted to put up an away message, then I would.

I deleted it in the registry, but it just came back when I signed on again ... I changed it's name in the registry, but AIM still used that message when I logged out.
