How do I get AIM+ to stop showing the timestamps in the convos?

i agree... why would you wanna get rid of the time stamp? it lets ya know when things happen..... stuff gets very confusing without it.... lol, trust me

u can edit the html manually after the conversation has taken place. or u can gointo you aim prefrences and goto chat prefs, and uncheck view timestamp

unchecking the timestamp doesnt disable it in the history

ok so that's the standard thing for aim+ to do. that's fine, though having an option to turn it on and off would be nice, but no big deal. thanks.

it isnt the standard thing in aim+ it isnt even standard in aim. u have to enable it. just uncheck the box like i said and u'll be fine

listen killcrap. im telling you that timestamp in the history is always there. hes talking abuot the history only, not in regular chats etc. my box is unchecked and the timestamp is still in the history, not in the chats, i can take screenshots to prove it

That would take a lot of work to go through and delete all those thymestamps. I'd load it into PHP, search for the ( on the first line and delete to the ) on the line. But then again, that'd be way too much effort too... so in sort, i'd deal with it :P
Puns don't kill people. People kill people... usually with guns, knives, or something else physically threatening... puns just don't quite cut it... unlike knives, which cut a lot of things...
