Question about 'allow cloning'
When the Allow Cloning check box is unchecked, AIM+ will still let you clone! How silly is that? ![:)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

What that option actually means is that it will not clone if you open it up from a shortcut. An example being that although you can still clone from within AIM by clicking the + symbol or using the AIM+ menu , you cannot open another instance by clicking a desktop shortcut and such. Maybe it should say something different, but I can't really think of something simple and short, which is probably why Big-O worded it like that. Maybe "allow external cloning"....hmm......I think it's better left how it is. ![:D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

This option was implemented to help people who were confused by the newly implemented cloning feature back when version 2.0 was released. They were accidentally creating tons of clones when they wanted nothing to do with them. This was the best solution we could come up with at the time, and I'm guessing we won't be changing it in the future, maybe just the wording a little :).
