Installation problems...shitty OS to blame?

Post by Sacrifice Tomb »

I downloaded AIM+ and when I attempted to install it, I get this lovely NSIS error. It says:

'Installer Verification failed

This could be the result of an incomplete download,
a failing disk, or (possibly) corruption from a virus.

You can try to force an install using the /NCRC
command line switch (but it is NOT recommended)'

I've never had this problem with AIM+ before, but could it be my OS, Windows XP?

If this question is reduntant, my apologies. I started to search the AIM+ General forum but I started to get sick from all the posts entitled 'HEEEEELLLPPP!!!!!!1111111' from people I thought might actually share my problem.

If anyone can give me some advice (even how to use the /NCRC command line) I would greatly appreciate it.
Wish in one hand and shit in the other...

See which one fills first...

It normally means you have a bad download.
Try re-downloading it and try again.

If you use any Download Managers such as Get-Right, or Download Accelerator, Don't use them...and try again.
