AIM+ history, i know its been discussed probably a lot but..

I have a 5.5.3583 version of AIM, and i'm using a 2.2.1.65 version of AIM+, on a windows xp. my problem is that I can't view any of my history. whenever i use AIM+ history viewer, i have list of all my buddies that i have talked to in my user list, but there are no names at all under the buddy list. now, is the problem because the AIM+ is not compatible with AIM or is there just something that i am doing wrong? Anyway, thanks for your time.
