Bug launching URL while using Pop-up blocker

I currently use pop up stopper pro. This program blocks unwanted popup ads. It works fine with aim until i installed aim+, now when running aim+, when i launch a link from an im conversation the detection method filters the launch as an unwanted popup and automatically closes the window. I know this because when i turn off the pop-up protection, it works fine, and because there is an audible sound that plays when a pop-up is avoided.


Something is different between the way that aim launches links before and after aim+ is installed.

I am using aim 4.8.2790& windows 2000.

very interesting. I wonder why it is treated differently. I use ZeroPopup, AIM+ links do not get killed.

i use popup stopper... from panicware.com.....

i love it... it works with IE and just closes all windows that are opened no matter what they are from.... unless i hold down the Ctrl key when i want a window to open


AIM, and AIM+ links are both automatically closed if theres already a IE window open.... and i gotta say thats the way i like it, lol
