What is everyones favorite multiim-program now?

They just recently released gaim for windows, nice to see them working on a windows version though I think my personal favorite I use the most now is Trillian pro. Can't wait for the checkers and chess plugins, they are going to be nice.

although I use AIM 90% of the time I also use Yahoo a lot with AIM. I seem to hate all those multi IM programs though. They just dont feel right or something.

i know exactly what ya mean, man.....

i think its the fact that its such a big program... as opposed to something like AIM... (which no matter how 'big' the program is, its just how big it feels to the user).

AIM seems like a simple little program.... like the way you can just have a simple strip of a buddy list and thats the whole program pretty much.

Now, a long time ago, when i tried trillian.... i hated it... just because of the fact that it seemed bulky and intrusive to my virtual space....

(although i fell in love with the fact you could sign on more than one AIM SN in the same window)

thats how it is for me anywyas..... i just like the sleekness of AIM

I also have tried Trillian and dis-liked it. The fact that it just didnt "feel" right..it was weird to use. And the fact that after installing it, and then trying to use Yahoo or AIM, it totally messed up my buddy lists, and I couldnt get them back to normal, even after un-installing Trillian.

i hate using all those weird all-in-one messenger things, they're just too cluttered and have too many features. i stick with AIM, just because all of my friends are on it.

i use aim and aim only i dont even hav yahoo or icq accounts i think that aim is just the best and aim+ makes it 100 times better....anyone agree?

I dont get the point of all of ICQ's menus, theres like 50 different menus n option areas.

Yeah, I have gAIM as well piacoa, but too bad its not built for the Windows platform. I may be wrong, but it's strictly a Linux app.
