No it's not Jim Carrey (or Jeff Daniels). This movie is a prequel where they are in highschool. Lloyd (Jim Carrey) gets adopted by a janitor lol

Lloyd Christmas will be played by Eric Christian Olsen (with dark hair of course) and Harry Dunn will be played by Derek Richardson (evidently no one knows who this guy is and I've not seen a picture of him yet).

I'm just trying to keep up on info about the movie because the first one is my favorite movie of all time

It is a different director this time around too. The Farrelly brothers directed the first one and this one is directed by Troy Miller, the guy who did Jack frost (:-?),
Beverly Hills Family Robinson (:-?), and some new movie called Run, Ronnie, Run. He just doesn't seem like a good pick for a comedy, little alone this one.
