just give up the notion now.

you need a secure ID/password..... that of an admin that has already been approved access to the AOL infastructure......

so unless you can get an admin's password, then just accept the fact that you cant get into it.

id pursue a job at AOL...... and if they DID hire me, id get a specia account, then id turn on all of my friends accounts to admin (and a few backup ones for myself  ) and then id go get all kinds of company tech info, release it on the web, then put all kinds of stuff on theyre damn oscar protocal.......

then quit

lol... then id have those backup SN's that still have access to AOL

(and yes i DO realise that by making this post i just lost any chance of working at AOL anyways, lol)

Actually I just downloaded it straight off of the AOL FTP. They aren't very good about securing the right folders so it seems... I also downloaded an uncomplete alpha of a new version (which is now 5.x).

Stupid AOL.
Well yeah, I got into the FTP, but theres so many folders and I have so little bandwidth, lol. Any chance you remember where you found the admin client?

The FTP address I got was ftp.newaol.com. To get on the FTP, you could use a browser such as SmartFTP (my personal favorite), type "ftp" at your command prompt, or search through it the 'hard' way by going to http://ftp.newaol.com. Either way its like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you had someone to point you in the right direction. But I'm looking anyway :D

Heres the path if any wanna see: http://ftp.newaol.com/aimgen/90179/aim95gric.exe If anyone knows anything about this, and I'm wrong, tell me..lol.

Can I remind everyone that is looking that the AIM Admin program is useless? You would be better off finding the web Admin panel.
