Talking while sending a file

Would there be anyway to still talk to the person who you are sending the file to. I know you can start a chat-room with that person, but maybe have another window come up so you can chat while the file gets sent to that person. Sometimes I do send large files and would like to talk to that person while being directly connected.

You can still chat with someone while sending them a file. All you have to do is move the file transfer window out of the way so you can see what you're writing and what you're receiving.
