extended emoticons
The features in AIM+ are really great... the only thing that they don't have that i'd love to see is an extended list of emoticons.... more available in the pull down window... the same way other services like trillion have.

well, the problem lies in the people that dont have AIM+...
if AIM+ added more emotions, it could be made so the other users that have AIM+ could see a graphic, but this would be rather hard with just regular AIM users.
Wat would be simple enough would be something like AIM+ would insert a word or phrase (much like these boards) and it would interpret them and put an icon or graphic there on both ends of the IM... but sum1 without AIM+ would only see the word.
So it would look like a " " to somebody WITH AIM+, but maybe a " : wink : " to someone without AIM+

good point... but stilll... even if it ment that a non-aim+ user could only see a text only version of teh emoticon such as a simple ;p or a text version... it would still in my opinion be a worthwhile feature to have that allowed at least the aim+ users to see the emoticons... because also.... if it worked that way... than that would mean that even if a non-aim+ user sent an emoticon in that format it would convert it to a graphic emoticon in the window of the aim+ user
