Random/Alternating Buddy Icons
i think it would be kool if AIM+ had the option randomize or cycle through buddy icons. like have several saved in a directory and have it pick a random one or cycle to the next one each time a person signs on. it'd be nice, if this was done, if it could display ur current icon somewhere so if somebody asks u about it u will know which icon they are talking about or if u just want to know which one u have up at that time.

Try Buddy Tools
You might want to try Buddy Tools - it will rotate and change your icons on a set interval of time. It also has a nice Icon Library manager.
Check it out here.

It couldn't be hard to write code to pick a random file out of a directory with .ids in them, and then replace the picture.id with that. If that toolset sucks as much as everyone says, then I'm sure one of us could write that if AIM+ won't make it a feature.
Puns don't kill people. People kill people... usually with guns, knives, or something else physically threatening... puns just don't quite cut it... unlike knives, which cut a lot of things...

Re: ani-gif prog??
Hmmm.... well id say the best id Adobe Photoshop (which comes with Imageready, which is wat you want)discipl4christ wrote:does anyone know of a good, free (yes i know that might be an oxymoron) animated gif making program?
Now... there are a few things you would need to do here....
FIRST: Download photoshop..
- Look on Kazaa (or kazaalite) for 'Adobe Photoshop'. But know that you need the file that is about 100mb for version 6, and about 160-200mb for version 7 (i dont kjnow why, i suggest just go with 6, since there isnt much changed). Ya better make sure you get the big one, as if you try to download a really small file, it will most likley be a virus. So spend your time on first getting that. (Dont worry about if it says it comes with a crack or keygen, etc...)
- Go to http://astalavista.box.sk and type in 'Adobe Photoshop 6' (or 7 if ya got it). Now, what you want to find in that big list is a working keymaker for your prog you just spent hours downloadin, lol.
Oh, umm..... i never said i DID this... i just know about it... Cause yea... i dont do ANYTHING bad like that

So once you got all that workin, just load up some gif's in image ready and you should be on ur way to making your own high-quality buddy icons
