What version of AIM are you using? AIM+ is not yet fully compatible with the AIM 5 series.

Yea, I'm having the same problem. Very werid, I'm on Xp running the latest version of aim+ with aim 4.8.2790. I just installed both today, and was working fine til I rebooted. Now, aim will exit if i open someones info and click anywhere in it. I was having this problem with this before, and had downgraded to some really old aim version, this fixed the problem, but the older aim was kinda glitchy. (ie.. the conversation window scrolls up occasionally, kinda annoying)

Plasma2k2b: I haven't a clue, really. A lot of people do not seem to be having this problem (myself and Mark included), but it does seem that many are. Why it would pop up so suddenly, I'm not sure -- things that come to mind are: a particular version of AIM? (when did that final 4.8 release come out...) the last month has seen a lot of website downtime/changes, but I can't yet see how that would be related to this problem..

ok

just did a little testing of my own. AIM+ has nothing to do with it. its an AIM problem. i loaded up aim, opened a profile, and clicked in it, and boom, aim shutdown.
so the AIM+ guys dont have to go searching for what in AIM+ could be causing this, because its not AIM+ at all ^^:;;

best solution ive found, download 4.8.2790 again from aim.com (its at the bottom. says Windows 98 users download 4.8 here), and reinstall. it fixed the problem for me.
