Like the Extreme Messenger by Ignite Software.. It allow the fonts color fading... pretty cool.

This is an often-requested feature for AIM+. It's definitely possible ... I don't think there's time to squeeze it into the upcoming second release of AIM+, but will be kept in mind for a future version.
