Im just runnin XP Pro on my server.... and im just so embarrased about something in that version of IIS that im not even gonna say what it is....

i need to get a copy of NT from sum1.

For some reason i cant install 2k at all... it doesnt like my mobo i think.

Wow, I said I could hook ya all up with some space for a general MessageServer info website. Or...did you need to have it on the server to run? I can give 15MB if that's all you need. Also, if you really need forums, I think I can allow that as well.

I have about 10GB of bandwidth, and my small forums so far take less than 1GB for now. That's not a means to go crazy, but I can set you up if you'd like. I can also host that domain on my server.

Basically, I'd just like to help out with MessageServer, because it really is an awesome bot.

Please let me know whatcha all think!

Hey bryan thanks so much we really needed some place to put up our site. do you know if the site is NT or Unix, if its NT i'll love you because i can run my cgi's on it. (they are windows only cgi's) i would like to point messageserver.org to it, lets talk.

i was working on breaking the 200 unique sn pending limit but i didnt get to far because i got side tracked. i guess ill work on it another time, i figured out how im going to do it and it's a lot harder then i thought so its going to take some time. i dont think the 200 limit will be a problem for at least another month.

I talked to host support and explained this situation.

If I were to host you, I could use the Addon Domain feature.

"It's new for CPanel, but it's not 100% proven yet. "If you know the person well, I don't see anything holding you back...but they wouldn't get al the benefits of a full featured account (i.e. no control panel). What CPanel does is create a subdomain (in this case, messageserver.btvillarin.com) and makes messageserver.org point to that subdomain. The actual email address would be "user@messageserver.btvillarin.com", but "user@messageserver.org" points to that."

CGI is supported, as long as you make it executable. Perl is installed on all the servers.

If you wanted to chat with my host (UtopiaHosting.com), he's really cool. He does custom plans, and you just might get a liking to him. wow, i visited btvillarin.com and it is quick, who is hosting it?, i can live with the sub domain issue, it doesent seem to be a problem.
I live in NJ so i'm 3 hours ahead.
