The new one will be the only one you can use from the AIM+ menu however Jedi's installer renames the old one with something like a aim+ history view old so it does not overwrite it.
You can then go into the folder to open the old viewer.

Regarding the Search function, must I wait for it to search the entire log every time I want to find something or is there a way to search under a particular name?
Inputing names in the "Sent From" or "To" boxes cause the search to not even occur; the search progress dialog pops up and immediately closes.

The search function doesn't work if AIM+ recorded your history with a version of AIM newer than 4.8.2790.

my history viewer did not work so i download yours an still when i click on a folder to display the history it shows a blank screen! Help!
