I think it would be cool if when your screen saver was activated a default away msg would come up. This would save a step as I launch my sceen saver from the quick launch bar when I leave the computer (for the password), and most time I use the same away msg over and over (also sometimes I just forget to put up the away msg... and left in the cold till my "idle" away msg come up).

Why not make a batch file that launches your away message and then the screen saver? I don't think that request is very implementable...

i must agree with jester on this one make a batch file that would be kind of useless when all you need is a batch file

If you have Win 2000 or XP and you lock your computer, AIM automatically puts an away message up, then takes it away when you unlock it.

Funny thing is i upgraded to Win 2000 almost right after I posted this... Ya the batch file would be much more simple.
