Display more info about a user

what about displaying more informations for a AIM user
Like, maybe his IP, type of Window he is using, on AIM express or the AIM ver he is using. I think that might be some of the good things

I dont think AIM+ would ever have it display the IP address. It's more a security issue than anything else.

- Showing the IP address is a major security issue.
- Not everyone who uses AIM is running Windows. There are Linux and Macintosh versions of the client. So maybe you should rephrase that to say, what type of operating system the user is running. Just a pet peeve of mine. (Remember, you do have a choice--not everyone has to live with Windows.)

I'm totally in for this as a feature. But can it be implemented? I know you can grab that type of info using javascripts on web pages, but as far as I know, could AIM support something like that?
