website down? "too many connections"

Hey Mark or Ryan..what happened to the site the last couple days??

It kept saying "Too many connections" and nothing more.

Did your database or something crash again ?

The forums website said something about a phpDB error or something like that..can't really remember.

omg that annoyed me soo much i wanted to get on so i could read that article on net send spamming and i could it was killing me lol

Geeze, this just goes to show how addicted I am to these boards. I was freaking out when it went down. Well ok, that's a little dramatic. But, I got kinda worried, that maybe they released something and too many people tried to download and that blew the bandwith for the server. LOL!! But yay, everything's back!!!

i almost died yesterday when i got the "too many connections" comment. :evil: i kept comin back every half hour to check if it was back up but to no avail. :( then when i came back from school today i was so happy again. :D what was wrong?

lol you guys are bad what would happen if big-o went down for like a month like it did a little while ago man you guys a crazy lol!

There was a problem with the database. I dunno what caused it but that was the problem.

i have seen that happen on other boards as well as the big-o board. im not exactly sure what causes this...but, as jester said, it was a database problem...prolly some script gone wacko or soemthing
