MySQL crashed yet again, and with the holiday weekend and all it couldn't be reset until today. Our website regularly pushes MySQL way beyond its limits, thus the occasional problems we've had to deal with. When we hosted the site ourselves, we could reset the system ourselves whenever necessary, but now we must rely on our hosts to do it for us.

And don't think they're doing a bad job because the site was down, they generously host our site despite the fact that it requires a lot of resources to maintain.
