umm... sory to burst ur bubble..... but there will never be any more versions of AIM+

I feel that AIM+ is a Really good program, but also that AIM 5.5 just came out, and also still alot of annoying ads, I still use AIM 4.8 so I can use AIM+ with it... but it sad to see these programmers not having time and don't wanna code this project anymore, but if there aren't going to be any more new versions maybe they would beable to find a person that is able to handle the code AIM+ is in and beable to upgrade the software, but its hard to know what your dealing with when you dont know what the source code is like, so I hope for the sake of AIM+ living on in the future because I would really like to see this program grow, maybe the programers would give the source code to another programmer or maybe post it up on the site? :-?

I don't wanna see AIM+ forgotten, Signed Cryptic.

They apparently do not want to give out the source code. And I'm pretty sure this has been stated many times in this thread alone.

why not just use gaim. http://www.gaim.sf.net

http://www.gaim.sf.net Has anyone tried gaim. I have used it for a long time now and couldn't be happier. And it is open source so it will never die. Unlike aim+.....I wonder if we will ever find out what the real reasons are for the death of aim+...

In news that rocks the face of AIM add-ons as you know it - Some idiot posted in the "Big-O Thread" proving to the world that people still see AIM+ as a threat, even a year after it was announced another version would not be made.

Just a small wake up call to you "Big-o" Admins

Greetings admins of "Big-O Software"

AIM+ is a very handy program, and I am very glad I found it. However, I am not very glad of what I found on my traffic report regarding this program. I never really analyze it because noone has ever penetrated my passive traffic firewall that I programmed. Needless to say, I found critical information about my system being send to you guys... and I just want to clear a few things up. I'm not very happy about this discovery of mine. If you dont end this, there will be no more future to "Big-O Software" and all of their admins systems.

I am very sad to hear that AIM+ is no longer going to be developed. It is one of the essential programs that I tell everyone to get.

Best of luck to Ryan and Mark in the real world!

4get it, telling people that the thread is x months old is pointless. it doesnt make the post go away and the ppl who dont look @ dates dont learn a lesson.
