An alternate to AIM+
I am definitly sad to hear that people can be so stupid and threaten you guys if you create a program that is used for no private gain (its free!) .. totally sad. Its ridiculous that someone would even do taht .. argh! So now the question becomes, what can i use as a substitue for aim + .. preferable on teh new aim 5.0 ....
thanks guys.

you could use deadAIM, but ill tell you right now that it re4lly sux0rs.
i could go into all the flaws right here, but ill just say it sux. The only thing i liked about it was the MSN style notifications. But you can download it and see for yourself.
(also, when i tried to uninstall it, it screwed up my AIM, lol)

i use deadaim and aim+ together with aim5.1, deadaim for the logging and msn style popups, and aim+ for the cloning, which is the only thing that works with aim5 and up. but what really annoys me whith deadaim is how it flashes it whenever its selected. from all that ive heard about it screwin up aim after its uninstalled, i just dont think im gonna uninstal it.

too slow
DeadAIM is too slow, very slow. Feels like I'm running on the oldest Pentium processor available. I have a 400MHz and if that doesnt seem fast to you, at least it was much faster when I was not using DeadAIM. AIM+ used to be quick, and although yes it made its fair share of mistakes, doesnt every other program do the same? DeadAIM seems like a copycat, its transparency part of the program doesn't work at all. Tabbed windows are waay to slow.
If I were you, dont go DeadAIM. I've never used MyIM before, and if you could, give me some feedback on it please?
Thanks
