They seem to work well, you'll probably see them in use soon. When you move a topic, you can leave a link to it in the other thread that says "Moved: topic title".

well... i was on here when it was being switched..... what it does is leaves a link in the topic that it was moved from with "Moved" in bold by it. And i guess it only stays for a while or sumthin cause i cant seem to find it no more :)

lol, and then the topic just stays where it was moved i supose :P

(never really use shadow topics on my board, so im new to em too)

The shadow topics stay until you manually delete them - I'd like it if they went away on their own after a certain amount of time. But as it is, you have to be careful to delete the shadow link and not the thread itself (can't delete it the same way you delete a thread, or else you'll lose the thread and its link).. So, because of that, and the fact that we don't want to run the risk of accidentally deleting threads, we might not use it too often (again, if the cleanup was automated, it would be great).
