well, lol..... those of us who visit the boards everyday and whatnot pretty much all have a system we use to check em..... it always varies on person to person........
when you first log into the board though, the icons show where there are new posts since youve last visited. (then change color)

Even if we did post in this forum, chances are they'd eventually get moved to the OT forum anyway...
