Horizontal Scroll Bar

Why is it that some threads have a horiz. scroll bar and most others don't?

Because if there are images that got uploaded which are too wide for your screen resolution, it makes the horizontal scroll bar.

Or sometimes I think phpBB messes up, and instead of using 'word wrap' to drop these text reply messages to the next line..they sometimes keep going and going off the side of your screen, thus making the H Scroll bar show up.

Also,

I'm not sure if this is true in phpBB, but in vBulletin when you use the special code tags like [ code ] and [ quote ] it can push the width of the post outside that of others causing the horizontal scroll bar to show up because the width is now greater than your browser window.

The threads also get horizontal scroll bars when someone's signature goes too long. This was happening a lot with one user, so I went in and put a few page breaks in to clean it up

I did not know you(the moderators) could add page breaks, I thought it was default thing. I guess I was wrong.
