It's great to see the new addition of the forums. Now a few questions have sprung up:

1) Will our post counts be counted for posting in OT forums since there isn't much going on in the other forums?
2) Who will moderate the new forums?

Obviously the new forums are now visible. We'll be opening them up tomorrow once we straighten out how they will be moderated.

1. For now, post counts will not be affected in any of the OT forums.
2. We have our 3 current moderators, DADINK13 has accepted an invitation to be a new moderator (congrats!), and we have invited one more user to be a new moderator (he hasn't been online yet, so we're not sure of his decision). There will be a total of 5 OT moderators as well as Ryan and myself.
3. The new forums will open up as soon as we have the moderator team in place.

Also will we all be loosing some of our post count be droping as old treads get deleted or what not.

You shouldn't lose any more, this was a one-time thing that we've been needing to do for a long time. Now, the only time your post count should go down is when we delete new threads that you've posted in (or move threads into a 'NoPostCount' forum).

Sorry about the delay in opening the new forums. One of our moderators is MIA and we're going to hold off on the new forums until we can get all the moderators set up for the new boards. Hopefully later tonight he'll come online and we can finish setting everything up! For now, the original Totally Off-Topic will remain open for all off-topic dicussions until all the new boards are ready to go.
