How can they make a sequel to that movie?? The aliens got exterminated!! They blew up the mothership and took down all the city-sized ships as well..

And if they release it, it better be on July 4!

I remember I was in Syracuse at the time and we saw it openning night...July 2nd.

I may be mistaken, but rumors floating around the net is that they are going to do a simultaneous release with the Matrix: Reloaded, and Matrix: Revolutions. 2 movies realeased at the same time for twice the money and all that stuff.

The only other movie in history to do this was Back To The Future, when they released 2 and 3 at the same time. (of course I don't remember, I was too young.. but so I've been told) Anyways.. it made quite a stir among critics and fans alike...no one has ever done it before, until then...and possibly with The Matrix.

No, Reloaded's comin' in May and Revolutions comin' in October. Those are hesitant dates though. They were filmed together but they're being released a few months apart.

Yea, I was quite intruiged by that article and can't wait (even more now that I read about it) for it to come out. That article is where I got the info on the releases.
