At least there is some variation to Nintendo. At least they aren't numbering. I dont want this to become into something big...but I am just saying that Sony should come up with a better name.

and like i said, the name doesnt matter, it would just be easy for stupid people to identify what is the latest version of ps ;D . its about the graphics and games not the name.

the rumor i heard about PS3 is that its going to be 6x better than PS2 in performance. dont know if its true or not.

i dont mind how sony is numbering their console names. i dont see anything wrong with numbering the consoles.. PSX/PSone, PS2, PS3.. i mean its backwards compatable isnt it? and who said that sonys next console is going to specifically be named "PS3"? sony already own a lot of names (PlayStation, Vaio, Xplod, Ericsson, Walkman, Image Station, CLIÉ, Mavica, etc.) so i think keeping the playstation name make things more organized and less confusing.

Yes I think they should keep the PS name and just add numbers. Hell they had the add for PS9 (you know when the PS2 first came out) so that owould mess with the add they made

Sooner or later they're going to have Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 17 for the Playstation 10.

I played Tony Hark and I do not like the game they are rather boring and after you played 1 you pretty much played them all

i'd be around 50 - 60 when PS 10 comes out.. a new generation of gaming console comes out about every 5 years soo it might be a while for a PS10
