Using Windows XP and AOL IM v4.8.2540 AIM+ does NOT automatically startup each time I reboot. IM starts up everytime without any problems - but without AIM+. I have to manually start that every single time.
Any work arounds for this?

The Fix
Fixing this problem is quite easy, if you have installed AIM it has made a registry entry. What may have happened is the AIM registry entry wasn't changed to AIM+.
Steps on adding AIM+ To registry:
Start -> run -> type 'regedit'
Go to this node:
HKEY_USERS
Software
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Run
When clicking on run to the left you may see some entrys alerady there. If you see aim and it isn't pointing to the AIM+ executable then right click AIM and click 'Modify'
Enter in the path to AIM+ and at the end add -cnetwait.odl
Example:
C:\Program Files\AIM+\AIM+.exe -cnetwait.odl
If you do NOT see an AIM entry in there right click and click New -> String value
Type in AIM then right click it and click Modify and type in the path.
