Spring Training

Spring Training is less than a month away! I love this time of year in baseball, trying to watch / listen to the 1 or 2 games they broadcast every few weeks, watching the young guys learning from the pros and trying so hard to make the team, and getting to see my team (the Mets) not in last place
.
I seriously think two of the best words in the English language are 'pitchers' and 'catchers'
.

Ahh.. I see someone else around here is a baseball fan huh?
If you come over here towards St. Petersburg, you can watch the Phillies for Spring Training at Jack Russel Stadium.
Even your Mets have Spring Training here in Florida --

To me, Spring Training IS Florida, because I'm from the East Coast and most of the East Coast teams train in Florida.

Personally, I don't like spring training and all the games...b/c people make such a big deal of winning and losing preseason when it doesnt matter or predict anything. Everyone makes such a big deal and all there predictions (which are usually wrong anyways) that don't mean squat. What matters is the regular season, where the wins and losses count. My favorite time of the season is up to the all-star break, where the red sox are in first place. Then as soon as the breaks over they blow the whole thing.
I think I'm gonna go cry.

GO TRIBE!!!
My team has spring training in Winter Haven, Florida. I hope this year will go better than last year. Just don't mention Thome being a Philly now... that's still a touchy subject with me. At least he didn't go to the Yankees though... Phew.
I just hope the Tribe doesn't do what they did last year... go at least 11 straight games without a loss and then not even make playoffs. That sucked.

Maybe nobody cares but me ... but Spring Training has arrived! Pitchers and catchers all across the land are reporting to camp

Yep... I can't wait until the games start though. I want to go see Cleveland play so bad. I love being there and seeing the action. Plus the Jake is really awesome. I just hope some of the stuff they did and didn't do during the offseason *cough* Thome *cough* won't come back to hurt them too bad.
