IMs not flashing

i dont know if this is a bug, but i disabled all my sounds on aim cause they'r annoying, so i never use them. And before aim+ my im windows used to flash to show that people have msg'd me when i have the windows minimized, but now it doesn't work anymore. what can i do to fix this?

i'm running a win2k platform with aim4.7
and no flashing windows have not been disabled in the aim preferences.

Does this behavior happen if you are running AIM without AIM+?

Did you try re-enabling your sounds to see if that caused the windows to stop flashing?

You also may want to try upgrading to the latest AIM beta, 4.8.2646, if all else fails.

well i tried, it without aim+ and it also doesn't flash so i dont know what could have caused this, i also updated to the newer aim, and it wasn't the version that you said it was, it was 4.7.2480. So i still dont know what to do.

AIM+ isn't causing this behavior if it happens while you are running AIM without it. It's still an annoying problem for you I'm sure, so hopefully we can figure it out.

To get the absolute newest AIM beta, you have to follow links about betas and testing on the AIM webpage. Maybe this AIM will help? :)
