In the final installment of George Lucas' fantasy series, due in May 2005, Jackson will reprise his role as Jedi Master Mace Windu. It is widely accepted "Star Wars" lore that all of the Jedi, save for Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi, will meet their end in "Episode III." Jackson has gone on record saying he hopes to "not go out like a punk." And recently, he got a cryptic indication that he may be getting his wish.
"I did get an e-mail from the stunt coordinator," he explained, "who said he'd like for me to show up a little early because he has some things we want to work out. So I guess that sounds like I'm gonna go out in a blaze of glory. I'm looking forward to it."

Yeah, and except that the original actors Luke Skywalker..and Princess Leagh would be both like 50 years old.Moon Child wrote:I can't wait to see it, even though I basically know what's gonna happen in it. What I really hope for is that they will make the last three movies, episodes 7 thru 9. That would be pretty interesting... except they would have to recast some of the roles in it...

If Episodes 7-9 are chronologically like 1-3, they'll be set a generation after Episodes 4-6, so the original cast would be mostly quite old or long dead, I'd guess.x Wasted Mind x wrote:Hahaha... he's like 65. That wouldn't work at all.Moon Child wrote:Then there is Han Solo (Harrison Ford)...
Me thinks they wont ever be doing Star Wars 7 - 9 unless they find some very good lookalikes.

I though Lucas said that he had no instest in making the last 3 episods. and he had no plans ever to do it. I believe I heard that the main reason he doing the first 3 is that he always wanted to do thoug hand complet the story line up to Starwars 4
