Either that, or Beavis and Butthead has warped my fragile little mind.

Getting back on topic.. I whipped up another image, which I think is better than my others.
I call it.. Sunset. How did I come up with that one??
Time: about 15 minutes
Tools: none
Notes: colors and filters, with a lighting effect.
Rather nice I think.

It's back.. heh. And no I don't need to attach it cause I host the files on my own server, I just link to the image.
I accidently moved the image to another directory while working with it.
oops.

Ok...I tried to make a rendition of Helman Ferguson's "Umbilic Torus NC", but I think Paint Shop Pro 7 has some vector issues. I included an image of the real thing.
Time: About an hour of getting pissed at PSP 7 cause it won't render right.

My attempt at a puddle...I obviously suck with PSP's vector tools.

I like the puddle thingy. Nice semi-reflection and/or lighting. Whatever effect you were going for .. it looks good.
The other mult colored thing.. is no good.

Yeah, I know. I was having a vector problem on the toroid. It has the right shape, but it didn't get colored right. Oh well.

I don't like the wet thing for one reason only. It looks rather realistic except it diesn't refract the texture underneath. The texture on the knob of your wood thing matches the texture on the door (or whatever). It looks like you made a selection and then applied filters to it.
