Newsted New Bassist for Osbourne's Band

I know it's old news, but I was just curious as to if anybody knew that former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted has become the new bassist in John....errr...Ozzy Osbourne's band.

Yeah, I saw an article about it a few weeks back on MTV.com. It's pretty funny that Metallica and Ozzy essentially swapped bassists, as Ozzy's former bassist is now in Metallica.

I hadn't seen too much chatter about Metallica or Ozzy in here, so I never got around to posting the article :D.

I was going to post it the weekend I heard about it, but when I checked, the article has vanished from Q104's website. I thought the same thing too, that the two bands just swapped bassists..lol :lol:
